DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman University and DME want to reinforce preexisting tailgate policy for all fans at Daytona Stadium for BCU Homecoming this weekend in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Tailgating for the Maroon and Gold before a football game at Daytona Stadium is part of a rich heritage that makes Wildcats Game Day special. This policy provides guidelines to help ensure a safe, family-friendly game day environment.
PARKING
- All parking lots will open at 8 a.m., on the scheduled game day.
- All parking at Daytona Stadium will require a pre-purchased parking ticket or hangtag; you will be able to buy additional parking at the BCU Box Office, but additional fees may be added.
- Tailgate parking spaces are ALL purchased in advance of game day with an assigned spot designated prior to entry; saving spots will not be allowed.
- Daytona Stadium ticket entrance gates will open two hours prior to kickoff.
- Guests must tailgate in front of or behind their vehicle only.
- Tailgating will be limited to one (1) 8'x16' space for each valid parking hangtag, and must not cross over into the drive lane designated by the white lines down each aisle.
- Oversized vehicles will need to pre-purchase a minimum of two (2) parking spots and need to park in the designated RV areas in each lot.
