DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman celebrates Homecoming with its first home volleyball match of the season Friday when the Lady Wildcats host Florida A&M Friday at 4 p.m. in Historic Moore Gymnasium.
The Lady Wildcats (7-9 overall, 0-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) are one of only five Division I teams – Green Bay, Binghamton, Jackson State and Grambling State are the others – who have yet to play at home this season.  Five of the next six matches will be at home. B-CU is  0-7 in true road games this season, including the last four.
It's a crucial MEAC Southern Division match as well. Florida A&M (3-12,2-0) swept its swing at North Carolina A&T and North Carolina Central while the Lady Wildcats were swept on a road swing for the first time in the
Brittany Williams era.
HOME SWEET HOME: The Lady Wildcats are 10-0 in Moore Gym in MEAC play under Williams, including 2-0 against them Rattlers. In 2016, B-CU played its home matches at Warner Christian Academy while Moore Gym was being renovated. Florida A&M was the lone blemish in the conference schedule that year.
THE TIDES ARE TURNING: B-CU and FAMU have split the last four meetings after FAMU won the first 48, including last year's home-and-home exchange.
