ATLANTA -- Bethune-Cookman looks to extend its winning streaks as the Lady Wildcats face Kennesaw State and Georgia State in the Georgia State Holiday Classic Thursday and Friday.
The Lady Wildcats (6-3) have won two in a row going into Thursday's 3 p.m. game with Kennesaw State. A victory Thursday and another over Georgia State Friday would also give BCU 11 consecutive non-losing months dating back to December 2016.
These two games start a six-game stretch away from home for the Lady Wildcats, who will also travel to Charlotte next week and open Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play with road games at North Carolina Central, Howard and Norfolk State before facing Delaware State in Moore Gym on Dec. 11.
NON-CON: These three games wrap up non-conference play for the Lady Wildcats. Last year's team was a program-best 8-4 in non-league play.
WHAT'S NEXT FOR ANGEL? Senior
Angel Golden became BCU's 11th recorded 1,000 point scorer last Saturday against North Florida. She needs 43 points to pass Sarah Bolden for 10th on the all-time scoring list. Also within striking distance: overtaking Keturah Newkirk (201) and
Kendra Cooper on the all-time three-point field goal list and maintaining her status as the all-time leading in 3FG% at .334 to Cooper's .332. Golden also needs 14 steals to pass Dena Thomas' 127 for 10th on the all-time steals list.
DON'T FORGET CHAS: Senior
Chasimmie Brown is two blocks away from passing assistant coach
Demetria Frank for fifth on the all-time blocks list.

HEY, WE KNOW HIM: Friday's game will be a reunion with former assistant A.G. Hall, now on the Georgia State bench. Hall went on to coach Winston-Salem State and serve on the North Carolina Central staff before Georgia State.
