SENIOR SEASON (2016-17): 
Appeared in all 32 games, starting 31...Averaged 10.4 ppg, shooting 33 percent from field, 31 from 3FG and 82 percent from the line...Finished career as B-CU's all-time leader in three-pointers, three-pointer FG% and free throw percentage...Reached 1,000 career points at Prairie View A&M...Scored figures in 18 games and had 20 point nights against Howard (22) and Savannah State (20 in the MEAC tournament)...Hit 6 3-pointers in that Howard game...Made a 3-pointer in 30 of 32 games... Finished fourth in the MEAC with 60 3FG...MEAC Player Of The Week 2/13


JUNIOR SEASON (2015-16): Appeared and started in 30 games, leading the team in scoring at 14.1 ppg...Finished season within striking distance of 1,000 career points and becoming B-CU’s all-time three-point field goals leader … Scored in in double-figures 20 times, with seven 20+ point performances … Scored a career-high 31 points on Dec. 21 during a 65-49 victory over Georgia Southern, that included seven three-pointers, matching a career-high high … Ranked sixth in the MEAC in assists per game (3.0), third in free throw percentage (.787) while finishing first in three-point field goal percentage (.372) and three balls made (73/2.4 per game).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014-15): Appeared in all 30 games while starting in 24 as a sophomore … Averaged a team-best 34.3 minutes per game and led the Wildcats with 14.0 points per contest, totaling 419 points during the season … Her 14.0 ppg finished 7th in the MEAC … Totaled 97 three-pointers made, leading the league, finishing 35.0% behind the arc … Her 85.7% from the charity stripe was enough to finish second in the MEAC … While she also added 1.6 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game … Scored a career-best 25 points twice (11/14/14 at Stetson and 12/6/14 at Savannah State) … Scored in double-figures 22 times knocking down seven three’s twice (12/8/14 at S.C. State and 3/9/15 vs FAMU) … Her seven three-point baskets made against Florida A&M on March 9, 2015, during the first round of the MEAC tournament, tied a MEAC record for most made during a tournament game. 

FRESHMAN SEASON (2013-14): Played in 30 games in her rookie season with the Lady Wildcats, starting six, and averaging 17 minutes per outing…Cooper tallied an average of 4.2 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists per contest…She made her collegiate debut at Florida (11/8), scoring five (5) points with one (1) steal and one (1) rebound against the Gators…Cooper first reached double figures in the third game of the year, putting up 10 points with two (2) rebounds in the home opener versus St. Thomas (11/14)...In the third of four games in double-digits, the freshman collected a season-bests of 16 points, six (6) rebounds and three (3) assists in 29 minutes versus Delaware State (2/15) in her second start of the campaign…She also put up 12 points in the Lady Wildcats’ streak-snapping victory over Florida A&M (2/22) at Moore Gymnasium…Rounding out a solid two weeks of action, Cooper put up nine (9) in a season-high 40 minutes played at Morgan State (3/1)…She was second on the team in made three-pointers, putting down 29 from behind the arc...Topped the team in free throw shooting, hitting 93.8 percent (30-for-32) from the line...Cooper started five of the final six contests at point guard, including B-CU’s MEAC Championships victory over South Carolina State; the first of its kind since the 2009-10 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played her high school basketball at the John Cooper School under Coach Rod Gold, aiding the Dragons to a 20-15 record and a Division 2 Runner-up finish and Southwest Preparatory Conference (SPC) title…A team captain as a senior, she averaged 27.5 points, 4.5 assists, 5.2 steals and 5.3 rebounds per game…Had her best outing on Senior Night, scoring 40 points with a school-record 12 three-pointers…Named first team All-SPC, first team All-South Zone...Earned Player of the Week from Review It Magazine and was named among the Top 50 Players in Houston by Vype Magazine…As a junior, she aided the Dragons to a 22-7 record with SPC and Division 2 Championships…During that season, Cooper averaged 29.5 points, 4.2 assists, 2.6 steals and 3.2 rebounds per game…Named first team All-SPC and first team All-South Zone..As a junior, Cooper led the nation in three-pointers per game (6.81) and was top 10 nationally in scoring (29.5 PPG)…Also played softball at JCS, earning three letters as a shortstop and catcher…Was an Honor Roll student throughout high school.

PERSONAL: Nicknamed Coop, Kendra Symone Cooper was born April 27, 1995 in Houston, Texas to Mike and Angelica Cooper…Has one sibling, Evan (20)…Her father was a college student-athlete at Rice University, and is a Hall of Fame nominee in baseball and basketball…Her brother is currently a sophomore guard at the University of Hartford…Outside of basketball she enjoys playing video games, hanging out with friends and listening to music…Chose Bethune-Cookman for the campus and the coaching staff…Notes her best sports memory as setting her high school’s record for three-pointers in a game…Her favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant because he doesn’t let anyone or anything stand in his way…Cites her brother as her biggest influence; given his college athletic career, he keeps her motivated…She is interested in becoming a sport psychologist and is majoring in Psychology at Bethune-Cookman.
