DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Juan Navarro remained unbeaten in singles and Phillip Lynch won his fourth straight singles match , but Bethune-Cookman fell 5-2 to George Washington Tuesday at City Island Tennis Center.
George Washington (1-15) swept doubles and took the top four singles matches to end the Wildcats' two-match winning streak.
Navarro is now 5-0 in singles at the No. 5 spot.
Lynch started the season 0-3, but has won four straight after settling in the No. 6 singles spot.
The Wildcats (3-6) will host UAB Friday morning.
