NORFOLK, Va. – Bethune-Cookman's Daniel Brennan has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Co-Golfer of the Month for March, announced the afternoon of Monday, April 2, by the conference office from its headquarters in Norfolk, Virginia.
 
Daniel Brennan, a 5-foot-10 senior is picking up his second MEAC Men's Golfer of the Month award of the 2017-18 athletic year. He earned the award in February as well.
 
The native of Shannon, Ireland led Bethune-Cookman in the month of March, as the Wildcats won two of the four tournaments in which they competed. He took individual gold in the Gary Freeman Spring Invitational after shooting a 2-over 218 (76-69-73), and he tied for eighth at the Lonnie Barton Invitational with a 5-over 149 (74-75), another tournament in which Bethune-Cookman won gold. In 11 total rounds, Brennan broke par twice and had four rounds at 1-over.
 
He was named Co-Golfer of the Month alongside Broc Everett of Augusta.
 
The BCU men's golf team is back in action April 23-25, as the Wildcats compete in the MEAC Championships in Savannah, Georgia.
