DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. --Bethune-Cookman senior Daniel Kiptoo was named Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week, the conference office announced today.
 
The senior from Eldoret, Kenya paced Bethune-Cookman at the season-opening North Florida Invitational this past weekend, turning in a 15:36.46 to finish sixth. His time along the 5K course was the best among MEAC runners for the weekend by nearly two seconds.
 
Both Wildcat teams will be in action this weekend  at the 2018 ASICS Embry-Riddle Classic this Saturday.

The college men start at 7:20 a.m. and the college women follow at 7:50 a.m
