DELAND, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman will be staying closer to home this weekend for its fourth and final tournament of the 2018 season as the Lady Wildcats compete at the Stetson Invitational in the storied Edmunds Center Friday and Saturday.
Coming off a 3-1 performance last weekend in New Orleans, the Lady Wildcats (5-5) meet Chicago State Friday at 2:30, then face Brown (4-2) at 2:30 p.m. and then face the host Hatters (6-6) in the mythical Volusia County championship match Saturday at 6 p.m.
SOME HISTORY: B-CU is at .500 after ten matches for the first time since the 2001 team started 6-4. However, that team lost three in a row and dipped to 6-7. So, a two-victory performance this weekend would give B-CU its best 13-match start in program history.
