LAKE NONA, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman Men's Tennis Team is back at the USTA National Campus, this time for the Bedford Cup that runs Friday through Sunday.

Sponsored by the Youth Tennis Foundation of Florida, the Bedford Cup is an annual traveling tournament, bringing together Division I tennis programs in Florida. It began in 2011 and has been hosted by FGCU, Florida, Florida State, USF and North Florida. UCF is the official host this weekend.

Last weekend, the Wildcat men posted their first ever team in the HBCU National tournament. Victor Bravo and the doubles tandem of Phillip Lynch and Juan David Navarro won their flight championships. Lynch and Victor Castro advanced to their singles flight finals.

This is the third of four Fall tournaments for the Wildcats.
