RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Isaiah Bailey scored a game-high 21 points in Bethune-Cookman's 87-68 loss at California Baptist late Saturday night.
Bailey had 18 first-half points, but the Wildcats (5-6) would drop their fourth straight.
Cletrell Pope registered his seventh double-double of the season with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Dejon Davis led five players in double-figures with a 16-point, 13-rebound double-double as the Lancers (6-4) shot 59.7 percent (16-27) Â from the field, including 8-16 from three-point range in the second half to pull away from a 41-31 halftime game.
Wali Parks' three-pointer with 8:34 remaining in the first half pulled BCU back to a 22-22 tie, but CBU would use a 10-0 run to turn a 28-26 lead into a 38-26 cushion late in the first half.
Parks finished with nine points on 3-4 shooting from three-point range.
Jordan Preaster added seven points.
BCU concludes an eight-game road trip Wednesday at UCF.
