@BCUWBB's Winning Streak Snapped By N.C. A&T

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. --  Angel Golden scored 13 points in Bethune-Cookman's 72-48 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference loss to North Carolina A&T Monday night in Moore Gym.

Cinia McCray scored 18 points as the Aggies (11-10 overall, 8-0 MEAC) remained unbeaten atop the league while putting an end to a three-game Lady Wildcat (12-9,5-4) winning streak.

Amani Ball scored eight points for BCU, followed by  Chasimmie Brown, Camary Harris and Kindell Fincher with five each.

Fincher's three-pointer with 9:25 remaining in the first half capped off a 10-0 run that turned a 13-4 BCU deficit into a 14-13 lead.
The Aggies responded with 12 unanswered points for a 25-14 lead as they led 30-20 at halftime.

Ball sank a pair of third-quarter three pointers to help get BCU to a nine-point deficit, but that's as close as the Lady Wildcats could get.

BCU hosts Norfolk State Saturday.

NOTES: BCU's four home MEAC losses in the past two years have been to North Carolina A&T and Maryland-Eastern Shore  … Ball was 3-4 from the field and 2-2 from the line … BCU has had 20 or more turnovers in four of its last five games.
