Gutierrez (0-2) was billed with the loss after throwing six innings with six hits, two walks, and four earned.

BCU (9-16) totaled six hits, led by a pair of
Brady Van Hook doubles.
Robert Bell also had two hits and an RBI. The Wildcats left 12 runners stranded.

AAMU (8-20) saw freshman Yavier Febus (1-1) deliver a quality start with one earned over seven innings. He gave up three hits, seven walks, and had six strikeouts.

BCU finishes its 22-game home stretch and the series against the Bulldogs Wednesday at 3 p.m.
