DELAND, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman dropped its opening game of the Stetson Invitational Friday as Tennessee-Martin used a two-run double in the sixth to down the Wildcats 2-1 at Patricia Wilson Field.

Tennessee-Martin (10-8) answered when Gracyn McBride drove in two runs with her two-out double.
Squandered in the setback was a three-hit performance from
Alexis Bermudez, who walked one and struck out two. She took a no-hitter into the fifth.
BCU outhit the Skyhawks 6-3, with
Quianah Mitchell going 2-3.
The Wildcats return to DeLand Saturday to face Fairfield at 10 a.m. and Maryland at 3 p.m.
