DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman won the doubles point but couldn't capitalize as North Dakota posted a 5-2 victory Saturday at City Island Tennis Center.

Karen Romero gave the Wildcats (1-5) a 1-0 lead, but the visiting Fighting Hawks (6-6) took four straight-set singles to clinch the match.
Butt added a singles victory for BCU, helping her improve to 3-2 in singles play this season. She and Smith are now 2-0 as a doubles combination.
BCU hosts two Spring Break matches, facing Troy Monday and Northern Illinois Tuesday.
