DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Michelle Ncube completed an undefeated season in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference play Monday, but Bethune-Cookman dropped a 4-3 loss to South Carolina State in its regular season finale at City Island Tennis Center.

Ncube is now 10-3 in singles play and 8-3 in doubles action.
"I tried to stay positive," Ncube said.

Afrika Smith in doubles and then taking her No. 2 singles match in straight sets.
However, BCU saw a 3-1 lead fade for the second time in three matches.
"I felt like we had a good chance to win this one," Villuccia said. "It's something we need to get through with players believing they can win."
