DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Amaya Scott scored 17 points as Bethune-Cookman jumped out to 7-0 and 20-2 leads en route to an 82-51 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference victory over Coppin State Saturday afternoon.
Camary Harris added 12 points and
Ashanti Hunt 10 points, seven rebounds and six assists as the Lady Wildcats (10-5 overall, 2-1 MEAC) posted their season high offensive output.
Hunt scored the game's first five points while Harris sank two early three-pointers as BCU took an 18-point lead just five minutes into the game.
Ashlie Howell had a season-high 11 rebounds.
All 11 Lady Wildcats scored.
BCU hosts Morgan State Monday night.
