KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. -- Bethune-Cookman finished 19th at the Kiawah Island Classic hosted by Osprey Point Golf Club.
The Lady Wildcats posted a team 54 hole total of 296-303-300 899.
Sumie Francois (76-71-76 223) and
Maria Cowan were (70-77-76 223) were BCU's low individuals, tying for 49th. Cowan posted the team's lowest 18 hole total with her opening round
Ana Heit (75-77-73 225) tied for 134th.
Isabell Friberg (75-83-75 233) tied for 197 and
Isabela Miravite (82-78-82 242 finished 242nd.
"Sumie and Maria each had an excellent round," said Interim Head Coach Robert "Tony" O'Neal. "This was a good tournament with a high level of competition. We're getting better as a team every week."
BCU hosts the Lady Wildcat Invitational next weekend at LPGA International.
