Recap
The Wildcats enter this weekend off a 2-1 road trip to Tallahassee. B-CU took two 3-1 wins against Alcorn State and Southern University before falling to Prairie View A&M, 1-3. The Wildcats success came on the back of
Jasmine Moore, who finished with 40 kills for the weekend. The Wildcats continued to bolster their conference lead in blocks with 27 in the last three games. Bethune-Cookman looks to build on that momentum this weekend.
Scouting the Hornets
Alabama State currently sits in fourth place in the SWAC with a 6-14 record, including a 4-2 record in conference play. The Hornets enter this weekend off of their own 2-1 weekend in the FAMU cluster in Tallahassee. They fell to Southern University, 1-3, before consecutive 3-0 sweeps of Prairie View A&M and Alcorn State.
Jada Rhodes ranks third in the SWAC with 174 kills to lead the Hornets, she also leads her team with 143 digs. Kalysia Bates leads the SWAC with 32 service aces.

All-Time Series

The Wildcats dropped their only matchup against Alabama A&M. They fell to the Bulldogs, 3-0 on Sept. 12, 2009.
Wildcats Notes
B-CU will hope to keep the block party going this weekend – four Wildcats,
Alleah Dallas,
Malina Spencer,
Kytal Price, and
Aryn Spencer, have contributed to over 20 blocks. All four would rank in the top ten in SWAC play. Moore has played all but one set for the Wildcats – she ranks in the SWAC's top ten in kills and points.
