B-CU was defeated by Jackson State, 3-0 in their first meeting of the season back on Sept 26.
Scouting the Tigers
Jackson State endured a difficult start to the season, dropping its first ten matches of the season to non-conference opponents. The Tigers turned things around in SWAC play, as they have yet to drop a conference game this season. JSU had won eight straight before finally cooling off in a 3-2 loss to Southeastern Louisiana on Tuesday.
The Tigers rank second in the SWAC in hitting percentage and third in kills per set. Alexis Williams ranks second in the SWAC with 252 kills. Her teammate, Olivia Flanagan, ranks fourth with 163.
Dallas Back on Top
After four total blocks Friday night,
Alleah Dallas reclaimed her SWAC lead in blocks per set at 0.98 after a one-game dip. Her 62 total blocks are only eight behind the conference lead, despite her having played in 9 fewer sets.
