Tallahassee, Fla. -- Bethune-Cookman volleyball travels to Tallahassee this weekend for a trio of SWAC Conference contests. Over two days, the Wildcats will take on Alcorn State, Southern University, and Prairie View A&M at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. Monday, respectively.

CONFERENCE PLAY CONTINUES

The Wildcats (1-13, 1-2 SWAC) will continue their inaugural SWAC season against new conference-mates Alcorn State (2-14, 1-3 SWAC) and Southern University (1-8, 1-3 SWAC), the first ever matchup between each program. Both the Braves and Jaguars defeated Prairie View A&M, 3-0, for their lone conference wins. Â

Bethune-Cookman finishes the weekend slate against that same Prairie View A&M. The Wildcats faced the Panthers for the first time back in 2018. B-CU defeated PVAMU 25-15, 25-12, and 25-19 on the way to a 3-0 victory.

Bethune-Cookman leads the SWAC in blocks per set, averaging just over two rejections.
Alleah Dallas is tied for the conference lead in blocks per set, and she ranks second in total blocks with 44, including 17 solo blocks. Her teammate
Malina Spencer also falls within the SWAC's top ten with 24 blocks of her own. The Wildcats are led on offense by
Jasmine Moore. She has totaled 95 kills, including 10 service aces. Her 2.26 kills per set rank second overall in the conference.
