The Wildcats (5-19, 5-8 SWAC) will look to find their way this weekend after a winless weekend at the Grambling cluster. Despite some impressive individual performances, including a 35-assist game from
Kortney Curtis and another dominant six-block game from
Alleah Dallas, the Wildcats came away empty-handed.
Scouting the Rattlers
The Rattlers are winners of six straight including a 3-0 win over the SWAC's current No. 1 team, Jackson State. FAMU leads the SWAC in hitting percentage, kills, and assists.
FAMU's Dominique Washington leads the SWAC in kills by a large margin with 426 total. Setter Irem Ucar leads the conference in assists with 897 and nearly 11 per set. Jessa Long leads the SWAC with over five digs per set.
All-Time Series
FAMU leads the all-time series between the two teams 28-6. The Rattlers came away with the victory earlier this season when the two teams faced off at Moore Gymnasium. The Wildcats defeated FAMU, 3-1, the last time the two teams played in Tallahassee on Nov 11, 2019.

The Wildcats may hold the advantage at the front of the net on Friday. The Rattlers are the third-most blocked team in the SWAC, allowing 1.81 blocks to opponents per set. The Wildcats continue their reign as the best blocking team in the conference with 2.1 blocks per set.
