Ashlie Howell played a key role in KBF Penza's upset victory over KBF Bashkimi in the Kosovo Basketball Federation Championship series.

In the deciding fifth game, Howell posted a double-double of 12 points and 14 rebounds as Penza claimed the title with a 77-63 victory. Bashkimi held a 2-1 lead in the series before Penza fought back and won its fourth league title since the 1999-2000 season.
Joining Penza in mid-season, Howell averaged 11.6 points and 9.1 rebounds during her time in Kosovo. She finished the regular season fifth in blocked shots per game (1.1).
A Bronx, New York, native. Howell played for B-CU in 2019-20 after two seasons at St. Peters (N.Y.). She started 21 games with an average of 5.7 points and 3.9 rebounds to help the Lady Wildcats win the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference regular season title.
Former B-CU players also active overseas include Brandon Tabb, who helped Svendborg advance to the league semifinals in Denmark along with
Ashanti Hunt (Barreteras, Mexico) and Alex Starling (South Adelaide, Australia). Â
