Bethune-Cookman looks to extend its three-match winning streak this weekend as the Wildcats travel to Mississippi Valley State Friday and Jackson State Sunday.

The Wildcats (3-15 overall, 3-3 SWAC) swept Alcorn State, Southern and Texas Southern in league play last weekend to move into sixth place in the conference standings, a half-match behind Arkansas Pine-Bluff. The top eight teams qualify for the conference tournament Nov. 18-20.

PROPS:
Adriana Marrero was named SWAC Defensive Player of the Week, while Alisha Callender was named Setter of The Week. Marrero, a freshman from Corezal, Puerto Rico, registered 39 digs and Callender 91 assists in last week's matches.

TOP TEN: Wildcats in the SWAC leaders:

• Jasmine Moore is seventh in kills (2.70 per set) and 8^th in scoring (2.98 points).
• Kytal Price is second in blocks (1.07 per set).
• Alleah Dallas is third in blocks (.98 per set).

STATS AND STUFF:

• A victory over MVSU would give B-CU its first four-match winning streak since 2018.
• Dallas has 244 career blocks and is fifth on the all-time last. She needs eight to pass Chelle Ticeson.
• Marrero has reached double figure digs in three of her last four matches.
• Moore has double figure kills in three of her last four matches.
• Mecca Freeman has had two double-doubles in the last four matches.
