@BCUGridiron Gameday: MVSU

ITTA BENA, Miss. -- Bethune-Cookman is back on the road for a two-game tour that includes Mississippi Valley State Saturday and Prairie  View A&M next week.

The Wildcats played a "home" game last week in Jacksonville but have not played in Daytona Beach since beating Grambling Sept. 24. B-CU returns home Nov. 5 for homecoming against Alabama State.

With the campus closed after sustaining significant damage from Hurricane Ian, the Wildcats have made Huntsville, Ala. , Nashville, Tenn. And Jacksonville the past three weeks. The campus was reopened on October 17.

A loss at MVSU would clinch a second straight losing season for the Wildcats for the first time since 2006-2007 under Alvin Wyatt Sr. B-CU had three consecutive winning seasons and nine of the last 10 before last year's 2-9 record.

This will be the third opponent's homecoming game the Wildcats have played in the season. Alabama State beat B-CU 35-27 in Huntsville October 1 and Tennessee State won 41-7 in Nashville October 8.
