TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Wildcats are set to cap off a successful year two in the Southwestern Athletic Conference as they head to the state capital for the 2022 SWAC Cross Country Championships, Monday Morning in Tallahassee.

Last time out, the men's team finished 27
th, and the women's team 24
th at the Florida State Cross Country Invitational on Oct. 7.
Emmanuel Corral led the B-CU men with an 8K time of 26:27.2, while
Kalyn Gibbs paced the women with a 5K time of 20:35.3.
Three Wildcats earned SWAC weekly honors over the regular season: Corral, Gibbs, and
Kaliece Pinckney.
The Wildcat men finished seventh and the women tenth at Choctaw Trails in their SWAC Championship debut a season ago. They will look to build on that finish Monday under newly-named head coach Mike Hamer.
