DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Wildcats have earned the Southwestern Athletic Conference's No. 6 seed, and will take on No. 3 Grambling State to open their first ever SWAC Volleyball tournament this weekend, the conference office announced Tuesday.
The 2022 SWAC Volleyball Tournament will take place Friday through Sunday, Nov. 18-20 at HPE Arena on the campus of Texas Southern University in Houston, Tex.
The Wildcats are slated to open their tournament run, Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m. EST. All games will be broadcast live on the SWAC Digital Network on YouTube. The SWAC Championship match will air live, Sunday Nov. 20 at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN3.
The Wildcats finished the season 8-20, and 8-8 in conference play. Head Coach
Brittany Williams and her squad will enter the SWAC tournament riding a two-game winning streak after wins over Mississippi Valley State and Jackson State last weekend.
