CONWAY, Ark. – Another big game for Kevin Davis was not enough as the Demons of Northwestern State outlasted the Wildcats, 69-66, Sunday afternoon in Conway, Ark.
How it Happened
The Wildcats (3-4, 0-0 SWAC) trailed by double digits in the first half, but closed the first frame with a run to pull within one.
The Wildcats came out of the break with six straight points to take the lead. A Northwestern State run with just under ten minutes to play put the Demons up ten. The Wildcats trimmed the deficit down to as little as one, but the Demons held on for the three-point victory
Kevin Davis finished with a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double, as well as two steals,, a block, and an assist.
Zion Harmon led the Wildcats with 16 pois. Marcus Garrett scored 13 with three assists and seven boards.
