DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A big offensive night for the B-CU powered the Wildcats to an 86-73 win over Chicago State, Thursday night at Moore Gymnasium.
How it Happened
The Wildcats (4-4, 0-0 SWAC) started slow but quickly found their stroke on the offensive end, leading the Cougars (2-7) at the half 39-28.
The Cougars kept things close in the second, but the Wildcats led wire-to-wire after the break for the 13-point victory.
Kevin Davis and
Marcus Garrett led the Wildcats with 21 points each on a combined 13-23 shooting.
Joe French added 18, all on six three-pointers.
Zion Harmon added 15 points.
Davis led the team with eight boards.
The Wildcats shot 50 percent as a team from deep. They made 22 of 26 free throws.

- The Wildcats are a perfect 3-0 at Moore Gymnasium this season.
- 86 point is a team-high on the young season.
- The Wildcats also set season highs in threes made and free throws made.
