JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Dylan Robertson scored 10 points in Bethune-Cookman's 88-48 loss to North Florida Saturday afternoon.
Zion Harmon added eight points as the Wildcats (4-5) fell behind 15-4 in the first four minutes and never recovered.
Jose Placer's 21 led North Florida as the Ospreys shot 51.7 from the field overall and 42.9 from three-point range – both highs for a Wildcat opponent this season.
UNF (3-6) made nine of its first 12 three-point attempts and led 31-11 on a Jose Place lay-up with 10:04 remaining in the first half. The Ospreys led 52-21 at halftime.
Marcus Garrett had seven points for B-CU, while
Kevin Davis and
Elijah Hulsewe added six apiece.
The Wildcats travel to San Antonio, Tex. for a two-game swing against Incarnate Word Friday and Texas-San Antonio Sunday.
