IOWA CITY, IA – The Wildcats looked formidable in their first game-action of the 2022-23 season, but the Hawkeyes proved too much to handle as they took down B-CU, 89-58, Monday night in Iowa City.
How it Happened
The Wildcats (0-1, 0-0 SWAC) kept pact with last season's Big Ten champs for much of the first half, entering the break down 19.
After the intermission, the Hawkeyes began to pull out of reach, scoring eleven straight points on the way to the 89-58 victory.
Zion Harmon led the Wildcats' scoring efforts with 15. He made an impact on both sides of the ball with a game-high seven assists to go along with two blocks.
Marcus Garrett chipped in 13, while Dylan Robertson rounded out B-CU's double-digit scorers with 11.
Kevin Davis and Lukas Gudavicius each finished the night with six boards.
