DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Kayla Clark and
Tatum Hayes each scored 13 points in Bethune-Cookman's 70-60 Southwestern Athletic Conference setback to Prairie View A&M Saturday afternoon in Moore Gymnasium.
Diana Rosenthal scored 22 points as the visiting Panthers (8-13,5-5) opened up a 42-30 lead with 2:38 remaining in the third quarter.
B-CU (3-16,2-8) got it to 44-41 on a
Tania White jumper with 11 seconds to play in the third, but could pull no closer. The Wildcats couldn't get within five points in the final period.
Camary Harris added 10 points for B-CU, while White added nine.
The Wildcats host Texas Southern Monday at 5:30 p.m.
