Daytona Beach, Fla. – Nolan has been named the SWAC Player of the Week after his dominant start at Stetson last weekend, the conference announced Wednesday.
 
The right-hander, one of the few holdovers from the pre-pandemic 2020 season, earns the first weekly award of his career after turning in 8 innings of two-hit ball at Stetson, allowing no runs, no walks, and striking out 11.
 
Santos's start led the Wildcats to their third straight win and their first shutout of Stetson in the history of the program in the 101^st ever meeting between the two teams. 
 
The Wildcats are set for three games in Baton Rouge this weekend as they take on the Tigers of #12 LSU. The series gets underway Friday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. EST.
