DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – After a stellar offensive season that saw him climb all the way into fourth place across all of college basketball in three-point shooting percentage and set the all-time mark in three point percentage across B-CU history,
Joe French has been named a 2022 BOXTOROW Second Team All-American.
The nod comes weeks after French was named to the 2022 All-SWAC Second Team - it marks the second postseason accolade of his sophomore season.
Joe led the Wildcats offensively all season. He finished atop his team and third in the SWAC with 15.8 points per game. He made 75 threes, the second-highest mark in the SWAC. He did so at a masterful 44.12 percent clip – the fourth-highest percentage across all programs at the DI level of college basketball, and the greatest single-season mark in Wildcats history.
French carried a large load for the Wildcats in 2022, averaging 33 minutes a night. He also led the Wildcats in field goal attempts and makes, he was second in free throws, first in free throw percentage, and he also added 29 assists.
