@BCUSoftball Drops Pitcher's Duel With MVSU

ITTA BENA, Miss. --  Bethune-Cookman and Mississippi Valley State engaged in another Southwestern Athletic Conference pitcher's duel Saturday, with the Delta Devilettes taking a 1-0 victory in eight innings on Saturday

Hannah Ortega scattered six hits in seven and two-third innings before surrendering the only run in the bottom of the eight. She walked one and struck out four.

MVSU's Daisy Page gave up just two hits to Haley Parks for the victory, walking none and striking and out three.

B-CU (9-20 overall, 4-5 conference) hosts archrival Florida A&M for a three-game series beginning Saturday.
