Wildcats Season Ends in SWAC Semifinals

Birmingham, Ala.  – Bethune-Cookman's 2022 baseball season comes to an end in the SWAC Tournament semifinals as the Wildcats fall to Alabama State, 4-1, Saturday afternoon at Regions Field.

How it Happened

Alabama State took an early lead in the bottom of the first on a two-out, two-run homer to right center field.

The Hornets pushed their lead back to two with a solo shot in the top of the third. They grabbed another run in the sixth on a sacrifice fly.

The Wildcats scattered eight hits in the contest, but nothing quite came together as they fell, 4-1, ending their season.
