DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - On Friday, October 13,
Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of construction on its first on-campus football practice field. Crews broke ground on the new facility back in April, which is part of B-CU's greater plan to continue building a Championship Culture.
In September, university leaders announced plans for a second phase of construction that includes a new football locker room facility, administration building, equipment upgrades and more.
The event will be held Friday, Oct. 13 at 3 p.m. behind the university's Athletic Training Center, located at 628 W. International Speedway Blvd.
The event is open to the public.
