ORLANDO, Fla. - The Wildcat men's cross country team finished sixth and the women's team finished seventh at the 2024 UCF Invitational, Friday in Orlando, Fla.
Florida State took first place on the men's side, finishing with 15Â points followed by Florida with 50, South Florida with 100, Stetson with 108, Jacksonville with 134 and the Wildcats with 161.
On the women's side, B-CU's 223 points landed them in seventh. Similar to the men, Florida State took first place with 18 points, followed by Florida with 51, UCF with 80, South Florida with 105, Jacksonville with 141 and Stetson with 182.
For the men,
Victor Kibet led the Wildcats with a 15:48.7 finish followed by
Dashon Gill who finished at 17:09.6
For the women,
Valencia Butler showed her leadership for the Wildcats, posting a 21:55.3 finish followed by
Riana Wilford, finishing at 23:42.2
