NEW YORK – Bethune-Cookman's Chanel Wilson and Dhashon Dyson have been selected to the 2024 HBCU All-Star Dream Classic, to be played this Saturday, August 10, in New York City's historic Rucker Park.

The event highlights an exclusive group of men's and women's HBCU/Northeast college basketball players who are now eligible for the NBA, WNBA, ABA, Big 3, European, and other Professional League playing opportunities. The unprecedented all-star game celebrates black history and HBCU culture, featuring prominent HBCU alumni, students, parents, and basketball fans.

Wilson wrapped up her collegiate career averaging a team-high 12 points per game last season with a team-high 72 assists. The former All-SWAC First Teamer and Newcomer of the Year also led B-CU in three pointers made.

Dyson, one of the SWAC's top offensive players, finished his final season in Maroon and Gold ranked second on the team in points, first in threes, first in minutes, second in assists, and second in steals.
