DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Wildcats ride high heading into another home weekend as they host Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M on Friday, October 17 and Sunday, October 19, at Moore Gymnasium.
Friday will serve as the team's annual pink game, with the team wearing pink jersey to show support for those affected by breast cancer.

After falling behind 7-3 in set two, seven straight for B-CU off the serve ofÂ
Nola Hemphill made it 11-7 before the Braves tied things again at 11-11. Some poor hitting by the Braves allowed the Wildcats to stay in front for the remainder of the set on the way to another 25-21 score.Â
The Cats put the final touches on the win with a 25-11 third-set win, holding the Braves to a -0.071 hitting percentage in the final frame. The Cats raced in front, 8-1, and never relinquished.Â
Texas Southern is 6-13 on the year and 5-1 in SWAC play, with their lone win in coming at Oral Roberts, 3-0.Â
The Tigers opened conference play with four straight wins, including a 3-2 win at home over SWAC-leading Jackson State on Oct. 6. After a 3-1 loss to Prairie View, the Tigers rebounded with a 3-0 win over UAPB on Sunday.Â
The Tigers rank near the bottom of the conference in hitting percentage at .125 as a team. They rank seventh in the conference at 1.53 blocks per set.
Gracie Hill leads the Tigers in kills with 142 on the year. Kourtni Collier has collected 39 blocks on the season.
Prairie View A&M is 9-10 on the year with a perfect 6-0 start in conference play. Most recently, they dropped only a single set between two games with Texas Southern and Grambling State.Â
Adlene Jideofor ranks third in the SWAC in blocks at 58. Kylee Owens ranks third in the conference with 3.49 kills per set. She leads the league in service aces at 34.
Friday marks the 10th-ever meeting between Texas Southern and B-CU. The Cats have taken seven of the last nine meetings.
Sunday marks the seventh meeting all-time between PVAMU and B-CU. The Cats are 2-4 in the series, but won last season's match.Â
