The Wildcats made their first basket with 6:21 remaining as redshirt senior guard Shomari Phillips was able to force a turnover and quickly turn it into points.

However, UCF was able to force seven Wildcat turnovers which helped them create a 15-5 advantage at the end of the period.

B-CU looked to battle back in the second quarter, but the offensive struggles continued to plague the Wildcats. Two made free-throws by senior Kailyn Peters cut the deficit back to ten at the 7:25 mark. The Knights were quickly able to get the offense going, shooting 75% in the period.

UCF took advantage of B-CU's turnovers, turning them into 21 of their 35 points, while holding the Wildcats to 19% shooting in the first half.

SECOND HALF
The game quickly got out of hand in the third quarter, as the Wildcats continued to struggle offensively.

Following a made three from Shomari Phillips, the Knights went on a 12-2 run that essentially put the game out of reach. UCF was dominant on the glass in the second half, collecting nine offensive rebounds that led to 10 second chance points.

Overall, UCF shot 54.7% from the field following the first quarter, while holding the Wildcats 24% and only 11 made field goals.
