RICHMOND, Va. - After an extended break following the HBCU Hoops Invitational, the Wildcats return to the court to take on the Richmond Spiders. The game begins at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday and will be the final road game of B-CU's non-conference slate.

1st Quarter
Bethune-Cookman (2-7) set the tone in the first, getting off to a scorching-hot start from the field. The Wildcats made 11 of their 16 shot attempts and shot 3-for-4 from beyond the arc en route to a 26 point-quarter.
B-CU held Livingstone to 33.3% shooting, but the Blue Bears found success on the glass, outrebounding B-CU 14-8 while grabbing eight offensive rebounds.
Ultimately, the Wildcats were able to use their strong offensive output to build a 26-16 advantage, one that they would never relinquish the remainder of the game.
2nd Quarter
The second quarter was evenly played overall, with both teams shooting around 31% from the floor.
Three-point shooting proved to be the difference, as B-CU made three shots from downtown to just one for the Blue Bears. As a result, the Wildcats won the quarter 19-13 and held a 16-point lead going into halftime.
Daimoni Dorsey led the way for the Wildcats, scoring 14 points in the half with two three-pointers made.
3rd Quarter
Bethune-Cookman was able to maintain a decent-sized in the third, despite shoot just 1-for-7 from three. Both teams had similar field-goal percentages and rebounding totals.
Livingstone held the slight edge in the quarter 18-16, but still faced a tough hill to climb heading into the fourth down 61-47.
4th Quarter
The Wildcats shot the ball extremely well to close out the win, just as they did to begin the game. B-CU made nine of their 18 attempts and shot 3-for-6 from three-point range in the fourth, scoring 27 points.
The Blue Bears also shot well (53.8%), but finished with five less shot attempts as they turned the ball over eight times.
Bethune-Cookman won by a final score of 88-67 as they led for 39 of the games 40 minutes.

Richmond plays in the Atlantic 10 conference and is currently 8-3 on the season. They are coming off a double-digit road win over the Liberty Flames.
The Spiders are led in scoring by senior Maggie Doogan. She is currently seventh in the NCAA, averaging 23.2 points per game. She also leads the team in rebounds (8.8), assists (5.4), and blocks (1.5).
Richmond is one of the top three-point shooting teams in the country. They are tenth in three-pointers made per game and 37th in three-point percentage.

This will be only the second meeting between the two programs. Bethune-Cookman won the only previous matchup 63-50 in 2017.
