Javon Ross has received additional honors for his standout season at Bethune-Cookman. He has been named to the FCS Central All-American First Team as well as the Stats Perform All-America Third Team as a kick returner. For Ross, these selections mark his third and fourth postseason honors, along with being named All-SWAC and HBCU All-American.
Ross was a reliable force for B-CU both as a receiver and a returner. The sophomore finished with 52 catches for 685 yards and four touchdowns while also adding 84 yards and a touchdown on the ground. He ranked fourth in the SWAC in receiving yards and third in catches per game. Ross was electric as a returner, collecting 506 yards and two return touchdowns. His two touchdowns along with 1275 all-purpose yards were the most of any player in the SWAC.
