DALLAS (NCBWA)– The Wildcats have received votes in the Preseason NCBWA Division I Poll, as voted on by writers, broadcasters, and publicists of college baseball across the country. 

The Wildcats were one of only two Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) teams to garner votes in the poll, with Jackson State the only other SWAC school featured. 

The Wildcats Monday had four players named to Preseason All-SWAC teams. 

B-CU finished 32-27 in 2024, finishing just one game away from the SWAC title game after a 4-2 loss to Jackson State in Atlanta last year.

The Wildcats open the 2025 season on Friday, Feb. 14 as they host Stony Brook out of the Colonial Athletic Association. First pitch of the 2025 season is set for 7 p.m. from Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
