FIRST HALF
Early offensive struggles saw the Wildcats (11-15, 8-5 SWAC) manage only two baskets in a fast-paced first four minutes of play, while Jackson State (9-17, 9-4 SWAC) moved in front, 10-5.

The JSU lead reached 20-11 before a Daniel Rouzan and-one stopped the run for the Wildcats.

Jackson State continued their strong start offensively, jumping in front 27-16 on a short Shannon Grant jumper. Two mintues later, Dorian McMillian's three made ti a 14-point Tiger advantage with under ten until the half.

A 10-1 Wildcat run brought the deficit down to just two as Kalil Camara's breakaway dunk put an exclamation point on a furious B-CU rally.

A Jackson State jumper and a pair of late free throws kept the Tigers up, 41-35 at the half.

SECOND HALF

Seven straight points from Trey Thomas in the second half saw B-CU maintain their position down just five at 53-48 with 13 minutes to play, but JSU kept pace and moved back up double-digits on another tough bucket in the paint.
