Asianae Nicholson has been named to the 2024-25 HBCU Division I Women's All-America Team announced this week by BOXTOROW from its headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Nicholson, a 5-foot-10 junior from South Euclid, Ohio, was named to the second team, joining a total of 14 other student-athletes across Historically Black College/University (HBCU) schools on the Division I level from both the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) and Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), as well as schools sprinkled around the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and Ohio Valley Conference (OVC).

Playing in the forward position under Head Coach
Janell Crayton Del Rosario, Nicholson finished the season ranked second nationally for double-doubles (22), and picking up one in each of her last 12 games, respectfully. She would end the season leading the league in rebounding (367) and rebounds per game (11.8), as well as the top 20 of the SWAC for blocked shots (18) and steals (51).

The Brush High alum accounted for a team-leading 394 points (12.7 ppg) to lead the Wildcats in that department, adding a 44.5 percent touch from the field to go along with 39 assists.
