DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two more signees for the 2025-26 Bethune-Cookman Women's Basketball class were announced Thursday afternoon by Head Coach
Janell Crayton Del Rosario, as Indigo Brown and Jade Parks officially joined the Wildcats Family.
Indigo Brown is a 5-foot-10 combo guard from Jonesboro, Georgia, arriving to Daytona Beach from Morrow High, where she prepped under Head Coach Eboni Larue during the 2024-25 campaign. She was a three-time All-Region 3 performer in high school, while also playing for Jay Moore and BounceNation FBC on the AAU level. Prior to her senior year, she spent her first three years at Eagles Landing High in McDonough, Georgia. She averaged 11.3 points per game as a senior, adding 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest. She would score 23 points and shoot 60 percent from the field in a win over Auburn High, while also recording a 16-point outburst against St. Francis High.
"Indigo brings a wide range of skill, IQ and hard work to our program," said Crayton Del Rosario. "She is a player who has played various positions in her playing career and never shies away from hard work. Her toughness is always on full display when she is on the court, and her grit will serve her and the team well in competition next season. We can't wait to have her in the Maroon and Gold and see her reach her fullest potential as a Wildcat."
Jade Parks comes to Bethune-Cookman from nearby Spruce Creek High School in Port Orange, Florida, where she prepped under Head Coach Kelvin Hamm. She's a 5-foot-10 power forward that won a state title at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach. Prior to her senior season, she spent three years at Mainland High School playing for former coach and Wildcats alum Brandon Stewart, prior to his departure to St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This past season at Spruce Creek, Parks averaged 11.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game. She scored 214 points and shot at a 42 percent clip from the field. She tallied 22 points on a 64 percent clip from the floor in her side's win over Calvary Christian back in January. Also managed 17 points in a win over DeLand.
"Jade is a local player who is going to be a great addition to the Wildcats Family," added Crayton Del Rosario. "Her versatility along with coming from winning programs is something we are very excited to add to our team. She is a hard worker, and her commitment to not only our program, but the community at large will make her a true asset next season."
