DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Former Bethune-Cookman Men's Basketball student-athletes
Derrick Carter-Hollinger Jr. and
Jesus Carralero Martin have each signed professional contracts with a pair of European teams to further their basketball careers. Carter-Hollinger inked with Kosice Wolves, while Carralero Martin will provide his services to Palmer Basket.

DJ Carter-Hollinger, a 6-foot-6 forward/center from San Diego, California, played two seasons (2022-24) for the Wildcats, transferring into the program as a junior from Montana, where he played from 2019-22. He has signed a professional contract to play for
Kosice Wolves. The Wolves are a professional basketball club based in Kosice, Slovakia. He signed a two-year contract after playing his rookie season with the Tkibuli Orbi in Tkibuli, Georgia. Throughout his Wildcats career, he played in 46 games with seven starts, shooting 54.3 percent from the field and averaging 8.2 points per game while scoring 375 points.

Jesus Carralero Martin, a 6-foot-7, 225-pound forward from Malaga, Spain, has signed a contract to play for
Palmer Basquet located in Palma, Mallorca, Spain. The team currently plays in Spanish Primera FEB. Carralero-Martin finished the 2024-25 season leading the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) in blocked shots on his way to collecting the program's fourth-ever triple-double along the course of the year as well. He would be named SWAC Defensive Player of the Year by
HoopsHD.com. On the season, he managed a 39.1 percent clip from the field while pouring in 6.2 points and grabbing down 5.7 rebounds per contest. He went on to manage 40 blocked shots and 31 steals.
