DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -
Doctor Bradley scored a season-high 22 points as the Wildcats cruised to a 85-48 win over Jackson State at Moore Gymnasium. The win is B-CU's third in a row, and they now stand alone at the top of the SWAC with a 5-1 record.
1st Half
Bethune-Cookman (8-11, 5-1) got off to a bit of a slow start, falling behind 7-2 Jackson State (5-14, 4-2) during the first three minutes of the game.
The Wildcats quickly responded with a 6-0 run to take the lead. From there, B-CU took over the game, continuing to increase their lead while dominating both ends of the floor.
The Tigers were held to just 28.1% shooting in the half and seven turnovers. The Wildcats shot 45.7%, made five three-pointers, and finished with just three turnovers.
Doctor Bradley was the start for the Cats in the first, scoring 14 points and four rebounds. Daeshun Ruffin had 12 for JSU.
2nd Quarter
The Wildcats slammed the door shut in the second half, not allowing the Tigers any momentum. B-CU once again held the Tigers to under 30% shooting and dominated the glass 29-17.
The 85-48 win was the Wildcats' largest margin of victory over a Division I opponent this season.

The Wildcats look to make it four in a row against Alcorn State on Monday. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. in Daytona Beach.
