DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Bethune-Cookman Wildcats and head coach Raymond Woodie have announced the 2026 B-CU National Signing Day Class.
B-CU finished 6-6 last season, capped off by a dramatic win over Florida A&M in the Florida Blue Florida Classic.
Mikael Santa • TE

Santa is a two-sport athlete out of Port Charlotte High School who starred as a shooting guard and a tight end. His senior season, he recorded 22 catches for 287 yards and four touchdowns. Santa helped lead the Pirates to a 11-3 record and an undefeated 3-0 within the region.
Citrus Baker • LB

Baker is a linebacker who grew up in Miami, Florida. During his senior season at Miami Northwestern, Baker recorded eight tackles and five tackles for loss for a team that finished 13-1 on the season. He also spent time at Booker T. Washington High School, where he recorded 28 tackles in 23 career games for the Tornadoes.
Christopher Medina • DL

Medina is a defensive tackle hailing from West Boca Raton, Florida. He played every game of his senior year at West Boca Raton High, totaling 59 tackles. He averaged just under four tackles per game and had 22 tackles for loss in his senior campaign. Additionally, he added one fumble recovery and 8 sacks in 2025-26.
Cameron Oxedine • WR

Oxendine will bring his quickness as a two-sport athlete to potentially both sides of the ball for B-CU. He's ranked first in receiving yards for his District, and 19th in the state of Florida. Most notably are his 17 total touchdowns, 14 of those being receiving touchdowns. On the defensive end, he contributed one interception and three total tackles in his senior year.

Patterson is a three-sport athlete quarterback that comes in from Handley High School in Alabama. The 6'3" athlete was ranked in the top 200 recruiting class in the state of Alabama.
Odonis Pierre • OL

Pierre is a 6'3" offensive lineman out of Miami Northwestern Senior High School. He spent time at both tackle and guard for the Bulls. During his junior season, he was coached by NFL quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and helped the team win a Class 3A State Championship.
Isaiah Daniel • RB
Riverview, FL • Tampa Bay Tech HS
A running back from Riverview, Florida, Daniel played high school ball at Tampa Bay Tech. In 28 career games for the Titans, he finished with 158 carries for 1256 yards and 15 touchdowns, averaging 7.9 yards per carry. Daniel also accumulated 17 catches for 229 yards and three rushing touchdowns. He led the team in rushing his junior and senior year, helping lead the Titans to back-to-back nine win seasons.

Morris is a quarterback who appeared in 31 games at Booker High School in Sarasota, FL. Despite an injury cutting his junior season short, Morris led the Tornadoes to a 12-2 record as a senior. He completed 63.1% of his passes for 2359 yards and 29 touchdowns and just one interception on the year while also recording 165 rushing yards on 12.7 yards per carry. Morris led his team to a Class 3A district championship and an appearance in the regional title game.

Evans is a linebacker from Winter Garden, Florida, who played at Jones High School in Orlando. During his career, he recorded 298 total tackles, 48.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, eight forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He was named player of the game four times and helped lead the Fightin' Tigers to a 12-3 record and an appearance in the Class 4A State Championship game his senior year.

Moore joins Bethune-Cookman from Stephenson High School in his hometown of Stone Mountain, GA. There, he played tight end and wide receiver for the Jaguars. As a senior, Moore recorded 12 catches for 169 yards and helped lead the Jaguars to an 11-2 record, including 5-1 in the region.

Mincey is a 6'3" offensive lineman out of Cedar Grove High School who has experience at every position along the line. As a senior, Mincey was named a team captain. He grew up in Jonesboro, Georgia.

Bowens out of Miami, Florida is an offensive lineman who played at South Miami Senior High. He made appearances at tackle and guard for the Spartans, helping his team achieve an 11-2 record and a 3-0 finish in the region.

Jiles, a transfer out of Southern Miss, was a three-star prospect coming out of Auburndale Senior High School. As a junior, Jiles led the Bloodhounds with 11 catches for 163 yards and three touchdowns. He was a Florida Athletic Coaches Association Offensive Honorable Mention for District 13 and helped his team reach the Class 4A FHSAA quarterfinals.

A two-sport athlete out of Buford High School, Costin Jr. had a standout senior season as a receiver. He led the Wolves with 38 catches for 646 yards and nine touchdowns while also recording 52 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Costin Jr. served as a catalyst for Buford's perfect 15-0 season and an eventual victory in the 6A State Championship. The team was named 2025 Max Preps National Champions as the top team in high school football.

Bell is a 6'4" tackle out of Miami Northwestern Senior High, where he played for current Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater his junior season. Bell helped lead his team to a Class 3A State Championship. His senior season, his Bulls went 13-1 and 3-0 in the region, ranking as the fourth best team in Florida.

Gerrard is a defensive back who played two seasons at the University of Texas Permian Basin. In 2025 as a redshirt sophomore, Gerrard played 12 games and compiled 14 tackles, 1.0 sack, 1.5 tackles for loss, two passes defensed, and one forced fumble. He helped lead his team to an 11-3 record and an appearance in the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. Gerrard played high school ball at Cypress Ranch High School in his hometown in Texas, where he played both sides of the ball.

A defensive back from Lake Butler, Florida, Ross joins B-CU from Division II Allen University. He played in eight games for the Hornets, recording 13 total tackles, two pass breakups, and one interception. Ross also played two seasons at NAIA Keiser University, where he recorded four tackles in three games played. He played basketball and football at Union County High School in his hometown.

Evans is a transfer out of Iowa Central Community College where he showcased his versatility, playing multiple positions along the defense. He stuffed the stat sheet in 2025, recording 38.0 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, four pass breakups, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery. Evans is from Orlando, FL and played both football and basketball at local Olympia High School.
Tyler "TJ" Jefferson • QB

Jefferson joins Bethune-Cookman after a one-season stint with Florida A&M. He spent two seasons at Central Michigan, where he made three starts. Overall, Jefferson completed 27 of 58 passes for 286 yards while also recording 233 yards rushing on 43 carries and one touchdown. He grew up in High Springs, Florida and played football and basketball at Hawthorne Senior High School.

Boone spent his freshman season as a redshirt at UCF. He was ranked as a three-star prospect coming out of South Sumter High School, where he played as a running back and a linebacker. In his high school career, Boone recorded 408 tackles, 79 tackles for loss, 27 sacks, 14 passes defensed, four interceptions, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries. He also rushed for 653 yards and 11 touchdowns. A three-sport athlete, Boone also excelled at basketball and baseball.

Daniels is a defensive lineman who spent his freshman season at Austin Peay. He grew up in Alachua, FL and played high school ball at F. W. Buchholz High for head coach Mark Whittemore. During his career, he tallied 72 tackles and 9.0 tackles for loss, helping lead the Bobcats to the State Championship Quarterfinals.

A defensive lineman transfer out of North Alabama, Smith appeared in 16 games for the Lions. He managed seven tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss. Smith also played at Tennessee State during his freshman season. Smith attended Lawton Chiles High School in his hometown of Tallahassee, where he accumulated 72 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and six sacks as a senior. He was awarded Defensive Player of the Year honors twice during his career.

Thompson joins the Wildcats after playing three seasons at Florida International as a defensive back. During his stint with the Panthers, he played in 16 games, making 12 tackles and recording a pass breakup. Thompson is from Labelle, Florida, and played at Moore Haven Jr-Sr High School, where he was rated as a three-star prospect. He played both sides of the ball for the Terriers, posting 57 tackles and two interceptions during his senior season, while making 32 catches for 964 yards and eight touchdowns.

A defensive back from Miami, Florida, Gay spent two seasons at FIU. He appeared in eight games, making one tackle and generating one pass breakup. He played at Miami Northwestern Sr High School, where he recorded 22 tackles, three interceptions, two forced fumbles. Gay helped his team reach the regional semifinals.

Johnson heads to B-CU after spending the last three seasons at the University of South Florida. In his college career, he has carried the ball 12 times for 77 yards, averaging 6.4 yards per carry. Johnson was a three-star prospect coming out of Appling County High School, where he ran for 2,365 yards and 26 touchdowns. He also added 18 receptions for 373 yards and four touchdowns through the air.

Bethune-Cookman will be McCall's fourth stop of his college career. The cornerback has played the previous two seasons at Georgia State, where he finished with eight tackles and one pass breakup. He played his sophomore season at Texas A&M, recording six tackles and one pass breakup. As a freshman, McCall attended Florida State, making five tackles and picking up 142 yards as a kick returner. A former four-star recruit, McCall played football, basketball, and ran track at Lake Gibson High School.

Johnson joins the Wildcats after three seasons with Boston College. During his freshman season, he played in eight games, recording five carries for 29 yards and making one catch for 11 yards. He played high school football for Central Catholic, where he tallied 2,368 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns on offense and 77 tackles and 10 interceptions on defense. Johnson is a former state champion and was named CCHS Offensive MVP in 2021.

Hall will play his redshirt senior season at B-CU following a four-year stint at Temple. In 2025, he played in nine games and collected four total tackles, 0.5 tackles for loss, and three passes defensed. Hall played linebacker at Clearwater Central Catholic as a senior after playing cornerback for three seasons at Calvary Christian. He finished with 61 tackles, three interceptions, and three kickoff return touchdowns his senior year. At Calvary, Hall played both sides of the ball and helped lead his team to the state playoffs.

Harris is a tight end who played his freshman season at Hutchinson Community College. He finished the season with two receptions for 26 yards and one touchdown in five games. Harris played at Westlake High School, helping lead the Chaparrals to a 15-1 record his senior year.

From Miramar, Florida, Rigby played two seasons at Division II Ferris State. He played in 23 games as a defensive back, accumulating 19 total tackles, and a pass breakup with the Bulldogs. Rigby attended high school in his hometown, showcasing his versatility by playing offense, defense, and special teams. During his senior year, he recorded 22 tackles and five interceptions as a cornerback, seven catches for 94 yards and a touchdown at wide receiver, and returned three punts and one kickoff.

Lanier played his freshman season at Division III Simpson College. He made four of his seven field goal attempts for the Storm, including a 40-yarder, and converted on 26-of-28 PAT opportunities. Lanier was a four-year starter at Spruce Creek High School, finishing as the school's all-time leader in points while being named Special Teams Player of the Year twice.

He attended the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp and demonstrated a consistent snapping rhythm. He averaged .74 seconds per snap and scored on 80% of his charted long snaps. Klatman is a two-sport athlete, having played baseball as a pitcher/utility player.

Thomas is a 6'3" wide receiver out of Lakeland, Florida. He played at Lakeland Senior High School where he finished with 34 catches for 696 yards and eight touchdowns. He was named player of the game on Oct. 17, 2025 and helped lead the Dreadnaughts to a 12-3 record, including 3-0 in the region.

Dean joins B-CU after attending American Heritage School in Delray Beach, Florida. As a senior, he excelled on both sides of the ball, tallying 94 carries for 652 yards and nine touchdowns on offense and 85 tackles, seven tackles for loss, three sacks, two hurries, and two passes defensed on defense. During his junior season at Atlantic High School, he managed five carries for 30 yards and two touchdowns while adding two catches for 17 yards. On defense, he recorded 29 total tackles, eight tackles for loss, three sacks, and a forced fumble.

Williams joins the Wildcats out of Orlando, Florida, where he played at Jones High School. He is a tight end who also has experienced playing on the offensive line. His senior season, Williams helped lead his team to a 12-3 record, including a 3-0 record within the district.
Isaac Gallagher-Cheetman • P
6-3 • 205 • Brisbane, Australia • Livingstone College
Gallagher-Cheetman is a punter who transferred to B-CU from Livingstone College. With the Blue Bears, he finished with 55 punts for 2195 yards. He pinned 18 punts inside the 20 yard line and had eight punts of 50+ yards. Gallagher-Cheetman also has experience as a kickoff specialist and kicked three PATs.
