GAINESVILLE, Fla. -
Lathika Krishna's strong start to 2026 continued as she led the way again for B-CU at the Lady Bison Spring Invitational, March 2-3, at Hawkstone Country Club.
B-CU finished 12th out of 13 teams in the event with a 331-341-334=1006 (+154), besting The Citadel's score of 1025.
UAlbany came out on top of the event with an 890, led by individual winner Thantita Aungsuseewong, who finished with a 215 (+2) on the week.
Host Howard finished in second with a 904 (+52), followed by Youngstown State rounding out the top three with a 908 (+56).
For the second straight week this spring,
Lathika Krishna was the top finisher for the Cats, finishing tied for seventh overall with a 76-78-73=227 (+14)
Mia Bernier was second in line for the Cats, carding a 85-90-80=252 (+39). Fellow freshman
Lana Bowen fell two spots behind with a 85-90-80=255 (+42)
Skylar Kew rounded out the lineup for B-CU with an 87-90-95=272 (+59).
Reese Wilson was again held out of the event due to a wrist injury.
B-CU returns to work on Monday, March 9 as they head to Montgomery, Alabama for the Hornet Spring Classic.
